Jelena Ostapenko will face Danielle Collins this Thursday for a spot in the quarterfinals of the WTA 500 in Charleston.
When asked about the American, Ostapenko was full of praise: "We’ve played each other several times.
She’s an excellent player and also has a great personality.
It’s going to be a tough match. I think we play almost the same style of tennis, so we’ll have some powerful exchanges.
She is who she is. She doesn’t try to be what people want her to be. She’s just herself, and I like that."
