Paire stays motivated: "I'm ready to get back into the fight".
Benoit Paire has had a very difficult 2024, winning just eleven matches on the ATP and Challenger circuits.
Although he is now 35 years old and ranked 414th in the world, the Frenchman has no intention of calling time on his career and is determined to be competitive in 2025.
In a video posted by Laurent Lokoli (ranked 440th in the world) on YouTube, Paire makes a short appearance in which he gives his news before the start of the next season: "I'm doing well. I'm in great shape, no more injuries, my head's in the right place.
I'm ready to start a new season. I've been training well for a while, so I can't wait to get back to tournaments and competition.
The injuries have taken their toll, but I'm ready to get back into the fight. The rankings go up quickly, you just have to win some matches again, win a tournament again and then you're off again."
