Paris Masters 1000, ATP Finals, Davis Cup: Alcaraz's Schedule for the End of the 2025 Season
Withdrawn from Shanghai, Carlos Alcaraz will now rest before starting the final stretch of his year, with stakes still high both individually and collectively.
Alcaraz won his 24th career ATP Tour title this Tuesday, and his 8th in 2025 at the ATP 500 tournament in Tokyo. Facing Taylor Fritz, who had beaten him a few days earlier at the Laver Cup, the Spaniard did the job to win in two sets (6-4, 6-4). Immediately after, the world number 1 confirmed his withdrawal from the Shanghai Masters 1000.
Thus, Alcaraz's schedule for the end of the season is known. Absent from Shanghai, he is expected to return for the Six Kings Slam exhibition taking place in Riyadh from October 15 to 18.
Not entered in a tournament during the week of the Basel and Vienna events, he is then scheduled to play the Paris Masters 1000 the week of October 27. Following that, the Spaniard will continue with the ATP Finals in Turin from November 9 to 16, a prestigious tournament he has yet to win.
That's not all, as Alcaraz, who was absent during the recent qualifying round for his country against Denmark, will attempt to lead Spain to the title at the Davis Cup Final 8 in Bologna from November 18 to 23, on the home turf of his rival Jannik Sinner.
La Roja has not lifted this trophy since 2019, a time when Rafael Nadal was the team's leader. In the quarterfinals, Spain will face the Czech Republic of Mensik, Lehecka, and Machac.
