Pennetta: "Italian tennis is recognized as a great power".

Italy is on top of the world. In recent weeks, the European nation has made it a double in the team competitions, winning both the Davis Cup and the Billie Jean King Cup.
Each time, the Italians have been led by their top-ranked player, whether it's Jannik Sinner in the men's or Jasmine Paolini in the women's category.
Italian tennis is booming and attracting more and more viewers thanks to the performances of its champions.
Flavia Pennetta, former world number 6 and winner of the 2015 US Open, spoke about the progress made by Italian tennis in recent months.
"Tennis in Italy is going through an incredible moment, both in the men's and women's game.
It's something special, because over time we've had positive moments for the women and positive moments for the men, but never simultaneously.
In my opinion, tennis has become the second most followed sport in Italy. We have Sinner, who is number one in the world, and Paolini, who is doing exceptional things.
There are also a lot of young players behind them, ready to take their place," she told Made In Italy We Are.
"Italian tennis is recognized the world over as a great power. A Grand Slam title for women coming soon?
Paolini proved that this year by reaching the final at Roland Garros and Wimbledon. We're very close.
Jasmine's progress is proof of this. She's the perfect example: at the age of 28, she decided to take risks by changing a lot of things. Not everyone has the courage to do that," she concludes.
