Pope Leo XIV jokes about organizing a charity match: "As long as you don't bring Sinner"
Last week, the new Pope Leo XIV, whose real name is Robert Francis Prevost, assumed his duties at the Vatican.
Known to be a tennis fan, he was questioned on the topic by the press this Monday, regarding the possible organization of a charity match where he would take to the court.
Leo XIV: "That would be nice."
Journalist: "I'll bring Andre Agassi for you."
Leo XIV: "As long as you don’t bring Sinner, we can play. (laughs)"
The Pope humorously referenced the last name of the world No. 1, as the word 'sinner' in English refers to those who commit sins.
