Pouille to undergo surgery on Monday
Lucas Pouille suffered a total rupture of his Achilles tendon during his final match at the Lille Challenger. Trying to start his run to go for a drop shot, the Frenchman fell and left the court in a wheelchair.
According to L'Équipe, he will undergo surgery on Monday. He had returned to Paris on Sunday evening for an ultrasound and MRI.

His season is probably over. Pouille is determined to do everything in his power to return to the highest level.
However, he does not rule out the possibility of an end to his career.
