Prize money - Fonseca will earn more in a week than in a year!

Prize money - Fonseca will earn more in a week than in a year!

The Masters Next Gen is a UFO in the world of tennis. Applying different rules to those of other tournaments (match best of 5 sets of 4 games, no warm-up, let on serve allowed), it awards no ATP points and serves as a laboratory to test possible evolutions.

That said, the event is no less prestigious for its record of champions and high prize-money.

In this respect, the case of Joao Fonseca stands out. Since January, the gifted Brazilian has amassed around $253,000 in tournament earnings. Qualified for the semi-finals and unbeaten at the end of the group stage, Fonseca is already guaranteed a $260,000 prize-money this week.

In one week, he'll earn more than he does in a year!

Joao Fonseca
145e, 409 points
