Four matches caught our eye. Two in the women's category. Paula Badosa (1.86), who is making the most of her fine return to form, as evidenced by her third-round triumph against , to subdue an in-form Donna Vekic (2.02), who is probably less solid than the Spaniard. Emma Raducanu's two-set victory (1.48) also stands out, given her current excellent form and Lulu Sun's (4.69) lack of reference.
Two matches in the men's draw. Tommy Paul (1.73) seems to have all the weapons to win in 3 sets (2.10) against the experienced but somewhat declining Roberto Bautista Agut (4.50). Buoyed by his triumph at Queen's, the American seems to be far superior to his Spanish opponent.
Lastly, Carlos Alcaraz's 4-set victory (2.13) is more risky but better rewarded. Although he is far superior to Ugo Humbert (6.00), he is not always a model of solidity and could therefore concede a set to a Frenchman who has no complexes.

As for the big odds, which are naturally more perilous, but more interesting in terms of potential winnings, we can spot at least two interesting duels. The first is among the women. We'll be keeping an eye on Jasmine Paolini's performance (2.94) against Madison Keys (1.36). Although an outsider in this match, not least because of the surface, the Italian could very well spring a surprise. With her unreal confidence since the French Open, Paolini seems buoyed by a surprising strength and could yet surprise us all.
Second in the men's draw. We'll also be keeping an eye on Grigor Dimitrov (2.22) against Daniil Medvedev (1.60). In what promises to be a very even match, the Bulgarian seems more than capable of upsetting the world number 5. Dimitrov, who has enjoyed a top-level season, is no novice against the Russian and is capable of anything on a big day.
