Quentin Halys' unusual preparation for the Australian Open
Quentin Halys, ranked 72nd in the world, decided not to go to a prestigious training center or academy to prepare for the first Grand Slam of the season.
As revealed by Actu.fr, the French player has taken refuge in the commune of Saint-André-des-Eaux (Loire-Atlantique), home to 7,000 inhabitants, to prepare for the 2025 season.
Halys trains at the Tennis Club Andréanais, which has recently renovated its courts and whose surface, as well as the color, matches that of the Australian Open.
The club president also points out that the 72nd-ranked player in the world chose these courts because he lives in the area.
A discreet preparation which, we hope, will bear fruit for the Frenchman.
