Raducanu Drops Out of Team for Billie Jean King Cup

Initially announced as part of the British team, Raducanu has ultimately decided not to participate in the Billie Jean King Cup scheduled for this month.

Indeed, the 2021 US Open winner was supposed to help her team qualify for the semifinals in the match against Japan (September 18). However, she chose to skip the competition. This decision is justified by her desire to participate in the WTA 500 in Seoul, which takes place the same week (September 15–21) and for which she has been offered a wild card.

Captain Anne Keothavong will therefore have to name a replacement for her team, which includes Boulter, Kartal, and Burrage.

If Great Britain were to win against the Japanese team of Osaka, they could face the United States or Kazakhstan in the final four on September 20.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
