Emma Raducanu was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the WTA 1000 in Miami by Jessica Pegula, 6-4, 6-7, 6-2.

In a press conference, she reflected on the match, which was physically demanding for her: "I felt very dizzy and weak.

It was very humid, and we waited a long time before going on court, so it might have just been the buildup of long, physically exhausting rallies and tough conditions.

I don’t know how I managed to adjust in the second set, but in the third, it was really a bit tough for me."

However, Raducanu remains satisfied with her tournament: "I’m very proud of my performance; Pegula played at a high level from start to finish.

Despite this loss, I only take positives from this week.

I played some great matches in Miami to reach the quarterfinals, and it’s a nice feeling."
