Raducanu returns for the first time to the incident with her harasser in Dubai
Emma Raducanu is present at Indian Wells and has revisited the incident that occurred with her harasser present in the stands during the Dubai tournament.
She had broken down in tears and had requested that the match be suspended until the person was expelled.
She states: "I was obviously very distressed. I saw him during the first match and I thought to myself that I didn't know how I was going to finish.
I literally couldn't see the ball, I had tears in my eyes, I could barely breathe.
I was playing against Karolina (Muchova), who is among the top 17 players in the world or something like that, and I couldn't see the ball.
Then, the first four games slipped away from me because I wasn't on the court, to be honest. I don't really know how I managed to recover."
