Roddick before the Djokovic - Zverev semi-final: "We don't know the nature of Novak's injury".
Ahead of the eagerly-awaited semi-final between Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev, Andy Roddick took time out to analyze the key points of the match.
In particular, the American returned to the leg injury Djokovic mentioned after his quarter-final against Carlos Alcaraz: "You could see that he had trouble moving against Alcaraz and then it wasn't the case.
I don't know to what extent this injury will be a determining factor for this match. He didn't want to talk about it or explain it.
We don't know what the nature of his injury is, apart from leg pain. It's a diagnosis I could make: 'the old diagnosis of leg pain'.
He could go out on the court and not be able to move, but we assume he can move. We saw the last two sets against Alcaraz, he was in full possession of his means.
It wasn't just that he wasn't bothered anymore, it was the best level of movement I've seen in eighteen months."
