Rublev to Aim for Second Title in Hamburg Against Cobolli

While Roland-Garros, starting on Sunday, is already capturing the attention of many fans, the ATP 500 in Hamburg will deliver its verdict tomorrow.

The final will feature Andrey Rublev, the tournament's third seed and world No. 17, against Flavio Cobolli, ranked 35th in the world. Rublev, who won the event in 2020, defeated Félix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets (6-1, 6-4) without conceding a single break.

In the other semifinal, Cobolli had to fight to escape the clutches of Tomas Etcheverry. After being dominated in the first set, the Italian managed to secure breaks at the end of the second and third sets to win 2-6, 7-5, 6-4.

He will play his third final on the circuit tomorrow and will try to win his career first ATP 500, after a first failure in Washington last year. Rublev, who obtained his 350th victory today, will attempt to claim his second title of the season after Doha in February.
