Rune admires Sinner: "It's crazy to think that he's won almost everything and that he can still improve".
Holger Rune hasn't had his best season on the ATP circuit. The Dane hopes to return to his best in 2024 and fight for the big titles again.
To do so, he'll have to find a way to regularly beat Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, who have monopolized all the Grand Slam titles this season.
In an interview with Eurosport, the 13th-ranked player in the world gave his thoughts on the two players' performances, with a deeper emphasis on the Italian.
"I think that this year, Sinner has been a more complete and regular player. The same goes for Alcaraz when he played his best tennis.
But at the same time, I can see that both can still be better in certain areas.
It's crazy to think that Jannik has won almost everything and that he can still improve as a tennis player. He shows his qualities on the court, and I hope to be there with them soon," he asserted.
