Holger Rune was eliminated from the Rome Masters 1000 in the third round by Corentin Moutet. A defeat that isn’t the end of the world for him, as a very important deadline approaches.
He states: "I didn’t feel like I was at my best when I arrived in Rome. The situation is what it is. I need to keep improving every day. I’m really looking forward to Roland-Garros.
It’s the most important for me. More matches are always good, but right now I’m not thinking so much about Hamburg, but more about recovery and working on details.
I’m looking forward to the next match, but I can’t say yet whether it will be Hamburg or Roland-Garros."
