Rune talks about his training with Sinner: "He hits the ball incredibly"
Since the end of his suspension, Sinner has been training in Monte-Carlo, where he resides. Several players have hit balls with the world number one, including Berrettini, Draper, and Rune.
The Dane, who has faced the Italian five times (winning twice), reflected on his training session with him. For him, Sinner has maintained the same quality in his tennis:
"He's always the same player. He hits the ball incredibly, as we have been used to seeing. I really enjoyed training with him. Coming back after three months isn't the easiest thing, it obviously takes some time, but I think he can still do very well.
Jannik is capable of everything. The impatience of the fans is huge, and we too are eager to play against the world number one again. Every time we met, it was a great battle," he told the media outlet La Stampa.
