Sinner: "When I started back, I had blisters on my hands. I hadn’t felt that in a long time."
Jannik Sinner makes his big return at the Rome Masters 1000 after a three-month absence due to suspension. In a press conference, he discussed his preparation for his comeback and how he experienced it.
"I'm happy with how these months went. For about a month, I didn’t touch a single racket. We started slowly.
When we began hitting the ball again, I got blisters on my hands. I hadn’t felt that in a long time. But I’m happy with how things went once I had time to get back on the court.
We weren’t in a rush because one or two days don’t change your life, and everything takes time."
