Rune's beautiful tribute to Djokovic: "We need you".

Holger Rune has yet to rediscover his best tennis form. Although he made it through to the last 16, he was unable to extend his London adventure any further.

Faced with Novak Djokovic, the Dane simply couldn't do anything, losing in just 2 hours 04 minutes (6-3, 6-4, 6-2).

Beaten soundly, Rune nevertheless paid tribute to his tormentor in a message posted on Instagram: "Yesterday (Monday), I felt like a shadow. It was hard. I'd especially like to thank all my fans and Wimbledon for this incredible tournament.

I'll be back and now I'm going to work harder to improve a lot of things. And Novak Djokovic, keep playing, we need you to keep showing us that the impossible is possible."
