Tartarini, Musetti's coach, doesn't hide his emotions: "I couldn't hold back the tears".

Lorenzo Musetti is about to experience his first career Grand Slam semi-final. A magnificent winner over Taylor Fritz in the quarter-finals (3-6, 7-6, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1), the gifted 22-year-old will face Novak Djokovic this Friday in the Wimbledon semi-finals.
This excellent result is of course a huge success for Musetti, but not only for him, but for his entire team. His coach, Simone Tartarini, expressed his satisfaction and emotion at this performance.
In comments relayed by our Ubitennis colleagues, he explained: "I couldn't hold back my tears. It's a crazy dream, today he played incredible tennis, also because Fritz served very well and didn't give up. Lorenzo did what I asked him to do, he stood his ground, it's an indescribable emotion.
He did some incredible variations. Now I'm off to Lorenzo's, who wants me to go home and eat plain dry pasta. Just as well, my grandmother's cooking!"
