World No. 1 Sabalenka cruised past Danilovic (6-2, 6-3) on Court Philippe-Chatrier this Friday.

Dominant the entire match, the Belarusian didn’t have to push too hard, capitalizing on her opponent's 26 unforced errors and converting 5 of her 9 break point opportunities.

With this win, Sabalenka secures her second victory over the Serbian player since their 2018 Madrid clash (6-4, 6-2) and advances to the Round of 16 in Paris for the third consecutive time, where she will face American Anisimova.

This season, Sabalenka has reached the finals at the Australian Open and Indian Wells, while claiming titles in Miami and Madrid. Thanks to this latest performance at Porte d’Auteuil, she now boasts 37 wins in 2025.

Training future champions: spotlight on the decline of the French public model facing private academies

The impact of the war on tennis in Ukraine: financial aid, foundations, governing bodies and all‑round headaches
Adrien Guyot 29/11/2025 à 09h08
Since February 2022 and the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Ukrainian sport has been heavily affected by human, structural and economic losses. Tennis has, of course, not been spared. While Ukrainian athletes have had to rethink their entire organization, an entire country, behind the scenes, has had to adapt and change its training conditions. This extends all the way to the highest level, where professional players have spoken out, trying as best they can to help their nation.

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
