Sabalenka Dominates Paolini to Reach First Miami Final

Aryna Sabalenka overpowered Jasmine Paolini (6-2, 6-2) on Thursday to secure her spot in the final of the WTA 1000 Miami Open.

Dominant since the start of the tournament in Florida, the world No. 1 faced no difficulties against Paolini, an opponent she had already defeated a few months ago during the group stage of the WTA Finals.

The Italian was overwhelmed by Sabalenka’s power, as the Belarusian managed to break twice in each set to claim her place in the final. With this fourth final of the season and her 22nd win of the year, Sabalenka now awaits either Jessica Pegula or Alexandra Eala in the championship match.

She will aim for her first title in Miami, a tournament where she had never previously advanced beyond the quarterfinals.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.
