Caroline Garcia to Drop Out of Top 100 for the First Time Since 2013
Caroline Garcia fell in the second round of Miami to world No. 2 Iga Swiatek (6-2, 7-5).
The defeat carries heavy consequences for the French player, as she will drop out of the top 100 for the first time since June 10, 2013. She had previously reached a career-high ranking of No. 4 (2018).
In 2025, the 31-year-old holds a record of six losses in nine matches. Last year, the Poissy native ended her season in September, citing psychological exhaustion.
By Monday, Caroline Garcia will be ranked 101st in the world.
