Sabalenka holds her ground despite the circumstances!

Aryna Sabalenka qualified for the 3rd round in Miami on Friday. Upset by the suicide of her ex-boyfriend, former Belarusian international ice-hockey player Konstantin Koltsov, the world number 2 nevertheless managed to concentrate on her tennis.

Opposed to her very good friend Paula Badosa, Sabalenka found the resources to deliver a full match on the Grandstand. The Belarusian, dressed in a black dress and wearing a black cap, won in 1 hour 23 minutes and two sets (6-4, 6-3).

She will now face Kalinina, who defeated Wozniacki, for a place in the last 16.
