Sabalenka speaks out on Konstantin Koltsov's death

Almost two days after the tragedy of what would a priori (according to Miami-Dade County Police) be Konstantin Kolsov's suicide in Miami, Aryna Sabalenka has emerged from her silence via an Instagram post. The Belarusian obviously explained that she is devastated by this "unthinkable tragedy", but she also revealed that she was no longer in a relationship with the 42-year-old former ice hockey player at the time of the incident.

Aryna Sabalenka: "Konstantin's death is an unthinkable tragedy. And, even though we were no longer together, my heart is broken. Please respect my privacy and the privacy of his family during this difficult time."

It doesn't explain anything except he was troubled and didn't think of his children. Sabalenka on the other hand needs compassion not criticism. Have a heart!

That does explain why she still wants to play but i smell something here.. let's see

If he committed suicide because of her.. hmm..then he got what he deserve.. but it is very sad..

It is very common for people close to those who commit suicide to blame themselves for not having done as much as they could or that they might have done things differently,... I hope she doesn't go down this destructive route as it is not her responsibility to make sure people in her life do not do such a thing.

People should just let it go. No matter what happened and why nobody will know the truth.
