Sabalenka: "I want to dominate the circuit like Serena did".
For the first time in her career, Aryna Sabalenka will officially end a season as world No.1.
Winner of this year's Australian Open and US Open, the Belarusian has a record of 22 wins and one defeat since August.
Already qualified for the Masters semi-finals without having lost a set, Sabalenka spoke about her goals and how she would like to make her WTA reign a reality: "I've always wanted to dominate the circuit like Serena Williams did, like Iga Swiatek did for a while. And she's right behind me and everything will be decided after the tournament, so who knows?
But it's very inspiring and I really want to dominate the WTA like they did. I'm trying to focus, progress and make sure I have everything I need to dominate the tour in that way."
