Sabalenka, Musetti, Paolini and the Tribute to Nadal: The Schedule for the First Day at Roland-Garros

Just a few hours to wait before the kickoff of the 2025 edition of Roland-Garros. For the first day of competition, several stars will already be on the scene.

On the Philippe-Chatrier, world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka will start the hostilities by facing Kamilla Rakhimova. The other two matches of the daytime session will pit Qinwen Zheng against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Lorenzo Musetti against Yannick Hanfmann.

After these three matches, Rafael Nadal, a fourteen-time winner at Roland-Garros, will receive a tribute that will be closely followed. The night session match, starting at 8:15 PM, will feature a clash between Ben Shelton and Lorenzo Sonego.

On the Suzanne-Lenglen, the lineups will be: Sonmez-Svitolina, Mpetshi Perricard-Bergs, Tiafoe-Safiullin, Paolini-Yuan.

The French players will obviously be present on the side courts: Sarah Rakotomanga will play her first match at Roland-Garros against Leyre Romero Gormaz, Valentin Royer will challenge Daniel Galan, Quentin Halys will face Tomas Machac, and Kyrian Jacquet will play against Nuno Borges.
