Sabalenka withdraws from the WTA 1000 in Beijing: I will focus on recovery

Aryna Sabalenka, freshly crowned at the US Open, is forced to postpone her return to competition due to an injury.

After her title at the US Open, Aryna Sabalenka will not immediately return to competition. Indeed, the world number 1 will not be present at the WTA 1000 in Beijing, which starts on September 24 in the Chinese capital. The Belarusian player mentioned a minor injury to explain her withdrawal.
