At 22 years old, the French player Loïs Boisson marks a major turning point in her career by reaching the 41st spot worldwide, her best WTA ranking.

The dream continues for Loïs Boisson. Although eliminated early in Seoul, the 22-year-old from Nice crosses a symbolic threshold this Monday by reaching the 41st spot worldwide, the best ranking of her young career. And this might just be the beginning.

As she now prepares for the WTA 1000 in Beijing (September 24 – October 5), Boisson is experiencing a turning point.

Despite a second-round defeat at the WTA 500 in Seoul, Loïs Boisson climbs 8 places this week to settle at the 41st position. This is a reward for her impressive consistency since the start of the season, marked by several solid victories and becoming the French No. 1.

Boisson's rise in power is not isolated. Tiantsoa Rakotomanga, just 19 years old, continues her climb as well. A week after her first WTA title, she gains 4 places to reach the 127th rank, her best ranking to date. Her ascent is closely watched: the French player could quickly enter the top 100 if her momentum continues.

Diane Parry, meanwhile, remains just outside the top 100 (101st), while Léolia Jeanjean (93rd) and Varvara Gracheva (79th) confirm their presence among the elite.

Training future champions: spotlight on the decline of the French public model facing private academies
Arthur Millot 06/12/2025 à 13h10
As federations struggle to reinvent themselves, private academies are capturing talent… but also families able to invest tens of thousands of euros a year. A system that is increasingly effective, but also increasingly unequal.

As a laboratory for tomorrow’s tennis, does the Next Gen Masters have a future?
Jules Hypolite 13/12/2025 à 17h01
Conceived as a bold bet to prepare for the post–Big 3 era, the Next Gen Masters has shaken up the codes of modern tennis. A pioneering, visionary tournament, but now in search of an identity.

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
