See you next time, Toronto, Humbert explains his withdrawal

Ugo Humbert was forced to withdraw at the last minute from the Toronto Masters 1000. On his Instagram account, the Frenchman explained his withdrawal.

"Due to a back injury, I couldn’t take the court today. See you next time, Toronto."

Humbert is still expected at the Cincinnati Masters 1000. Currently ranked 23rd in the world, the Frenchman is only 40th in the Race and will need to perform well in this final stretch of the season if he wants to maintain a seeded status at the Grand Slams.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Grenier and Hsu at the Kobe tournament? The match was played to completion and on time.
