Shapovalov angry at Swiatek doping case: "Halep and other players have had very long suspensions for similar things"
Denis Shapovalov, often active on the X platform, was one of the first players to react to the one-month suspension of Iga Swiatek, who tested positive for trimetazidine.
The Pole, who has been justifying her positive test behind the scenes in recent weeks, received a one-month suspension on Thursday, of which she has already served 22 days.
Shapovalov, very reactive, first published these few words: "One month's ban, eh" (see publication below).
But it was mainly in response to a user that the Canadian gave his opinion: "It's not fair that Halep and other players have had very long suspensions for similar things.
I'm glad to see that changing, because the doping rules are unfair. But guys like Ymer (Mikael) are suspended and he hasn't even tested positive."
