Ben Shelton was interviewed in Acapulco by journalist Ben Rothenberg about the Sinner affair and his suspension.

The American gave a succinct and clear answer: "The investigation is over.

The case is closed. I'm glad we can play now and move on.

My thoughts are my thoughts, but I'm ready to start playing and stop talking about it.

A lot of people want to speculate, but I'm here to play."

A focused Shelton, who won last night in Acapulco against Flavio Cobolli and will face David Goffin in the next round.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Grenier and Hsu at the Kobe tournament? The match was played to completion and on time.
