Shelton opens up about his college journey: "There isn't just one path to the top"
Asked by influencer Noah Christian Dion, Ben Shelton reflected on his college journey. He expressed pride in that period and hopes to inspire the younger generation.
He explained: "It was an incredible journey for me, a crazy journey. You know, many tennis players don't go to college, so I guess my path was a bit different.
"I hope to inspire young people"
And I think I'm proof that there isn't just one path to the top of this sport. It's an ongoing process. I just try to improve every day. It's a sport where you quickly fall behind if you don't constantly progress.
I'm happy, or I hope, to be able to inspire young people who are going to college or are already there, and to show them that they too can succeed as professionals."
