Sinner achieves an unprecedented feat in a single season
On Sunday, Jannik Sinner won the second Davis Cup of his career with a 2-0 victory over the Netherlands in the final.
Following on from his exceptional week at the Masters, the world No.1 continued his winning ways in Malaga, beating each of his opponents in straight sets. His Davis Cup triumph means that, at just 23 years of age, he has made tennis history.
Indeed, Sinner became the first player in history to win at least two Grand Slams (Australian Open and US Open), the ATP Finals and the Davis Cup in the same season.
Not even the Big 3, who dominated the circuit for many years, managed to win all these titles in a single season.
