Sinner after his victory: "Physically and mentally, Zverev wasn't at his best"
Sinner's first words after qualifying for the final of the Paris Masters 1000.
Jannik Sinner continues to build his legend. The young Italian prodigy, impressive for weeks, qualified this Saturday for the final of the Paris tournament after dominating a diminished Alexander Zverev (6-0, 6-1).
"I'm happy to be in the final, but today, Sascha was clearly not at 100%. He's had two very tough weeks. So you never want to win in this way," shared the Italian.
Now focused on the final, he will face Félix Auger-Aliassime. A victory would secure the Canadian a ticket to the Turin Masters, while for Sinner, already qualified, a new trophy would be added to an already impressive record.
"Felix is playing incredible tennis. He has improved a lot in recent months. He's a good guy, it will be a pleasure to share this moment with him," concluded Sinner, speaking to ATP after his match.
