Sinner-Bublik, De Minaur, Moutet: Friday, October 24th schedule in Vienna

Time for the quarter-final matchups of the ATP 500 tournament in Vienna this Friday.

In the coming hours, the last eight players in contention in the Vienna tournament will battle for a spot in the semi-finals. On the Center Court, starting at 1:30 PM, the first match of the day features Alex De Minaur against Matteo Berrettini. The Italian leads the head-to-head 3 wins to 1 and, in fact, won their most recent encounter at the Miami Masters 1000 earlier in the season.

The second quarter-final will see Tallon Griekspoor and Alexander Zverev face off for the 11th time, the fourth time this season. The German currently leads 8 wins to 2 and dominated his opponent of the day on the clay of Munich and Roland-Garros in 2025. However, the Dutchman defeated Zverev at the Indian Wells Masters 1000 in their first meeting of the year.

The third match will pit Jannik Sinner against Alexander Bublik. Here too, it will be the fourth meeting between the two players this year (the world number 2 leads 2 wins to 1, and leads 5-2 in the overall head-to-head record).

Bublik had upset Sinner in Halle, while the Italian got his revenge at the US Open a few weeks later. Prior to that, he had beaten the current world number 16 in the quarter-finals of Roland-Garros last June.

Finally, the last quarter-final will feature Corentin Moutet against Lorenzo Musetti. In the second round of the Buenos Aires tournament in February, the Italian triumphed in two straightforward sets (6-2, 6-3).

As the last French player remaining in the Austrian capital, Moutet, who got his revenge on Daniil Medvedev in the previous round just days after their final match in Almaty, hopes to continue building confidence as he provisionally climbs to 31st place in the rankings.
