Sinner, Djokovic, Swiatek, Gauff: The packed schedule for Tuesday, July 1st at Wimbledon

This Tuesday, the first-round matches continue in both singles draws. The day kicks off at 2:30 PM on Centre Court with Barbora Krejcikova beginning her title defense against Alexandra Eala, followed by seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic making his debut against French player Alexander Muller.
Closing the day’s program on the biggest court of the complex, recent Roland-Garros winner Coco Gauff will face a tricky first-round challenge against Dayana Yastremska.
On Court 1, world No. 1 Jannik Sinner will take on his compatriot Luca Nardi in the middle of the day, followed by an exciting matchup between two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova—playing her final tournament at SW19—and world No. 10 Emma Navarro. Finally, title contender Jack Draper will open his campaign against Sebastian Baez.
As for the lineup on Court 2, plenty of star power is on display with Jessica Pegula (vs. Elisabetta Cocciaretto), Lorenzo Musetti (vs. Nikoloz Basilashvili), Iga Swiatek (who will take on Polina Kudermetova), and Ben Shelton (making his debut against Alex Bolt).
The French players will also feature on the outer courts. The clash between Gaël Monfils and Ugo Humbert will take place midday, third on Court 12. Hugo Gaston will close the schedule on Court 18 against Jakub Mensik.
On Court 6, two French players will follow each other early in the day: Arthur Cazaux (vs. Adam Walton) and Quentin Halys (who will challenge August Holmgren). Corentin Moutet, a finalist in Mallorca, will face Francisco Comesaña on Court 11, and later, in the final match on the same court, Elsa Jacquemot will try to overcome Magda Linette.
