Sinner is one set away from the Masters title!
So far, there have been no surprises in Turin. In a relatively even match, Jannik Sinner outplayed Taylor Fritz to win the first set of the Masters 2024 final (6-4).
In a duel where both men serve and hit the ball very well, the Italian was simply a little better than his opponent in the important moments. Notably committing very few unforced errors, the world number 1 is just one set away from the title on home soil.
Fritz, on the other hand, will have to make quite a comeback if he is to win the title.
