Sinner Matches a Legend in Number of Weeks as World No. 1

Still suspended, Jannik Sinner nevertheless retains his position as world No. 1 in the ATP rankings.

Set to return in Rome on May 7, the Italian has reached his 43rd week as the top-ranked player in the world.

The 23-year-old player ties Gustavo Kuerten and surpasses Ilie Nastase (40) as well as Andy Murray (41).

Sinner is now 15 weeks away from catching Jim Courier (58).
