Sinner named fans' favourite player for the second year running!

Throughout the week, the ATP Awards will be recognizing the players who have made their mark on the year 2024 in a number of categories.

While we wait to find out who the winner of this season's comeback will be, for example, the ATP revealed the winner of the fans' favorite player vote on Tuesday.

As in 2023, Jannik Sinner won this honor, finishing for the first time in his career as world No.1 in the ATP rankings.

The Italian was keen to thank the fans who voted for him in this category: "I just want to thank the fans all over the world for voting for me.

It means a lot because the votes come from all of you.

You are the reason I play tennis. The support has been incredible throughout this season."

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.
