Sinner opens up ahead of his return: "I'm not thinking much about tennis right now"
Absent since February 9, Sinner will make his return in Rome on May 8. In the meantime, he will be able to resume training starting April 13.
During his absence, the world No. 1 focused on other activities like skiing, weightlifting, and cycling.
In an interview with Sky Sport, the Italian shared his thoughts as his comeback approaches:
"I’m doing very well, I’ve rested, and I’m happy. I’ve done a lot of different things. Obviously, if I had the choice, I would have played tennis, but on the other hand, I feel good and I’m not thinking much about tennis right now.
With each passing day, I feel better physically and mentally, even though there’s still a lot of work to do. In any case, see you in Rome—we hope to prepare well."
