Sinner speaks one last time before his first match in Rome: "Guys, finally, the preparation is over"

Sinner was suspended for three months due to a doping case. Now cleared to return to competition, the Italian will make his comeback against Argentina's Navone in Rome. Just hours before his match, the world number one shared a final message in a video posted on his YouTube channel:
"Guys, finally, the preparation is over. I want to thank you for the support over these past days, for the joy and love you’ve shown me. It’s been incredible. Thank you for coming to my training sessions and giving me positive energy.
Today, I want to feel that same emotion, no matter the result. I’m coming back after some time away, so whatever happens, I’m just happy to be here again. It’s going to be fantastic."
The two players have never faced each other on the tour. Ranked 99th in the ATP, the Argentine secured a first-round win against Cina (6-3, 6-3). This season, he has reached the quarterfinals in Buenos Aires and Aix-en-Provence.
