Nick Kyrgios has experienced numerous physical setbacks in his career. According to the X account Jeu, Set et Maths, 12.4% of the Australian's eliminations are due to withdrawals (walkovers) or retirements.

He is the second player with the highest ratio in this category, the first being the late Jérôme Golmard with a rate of 13.9%.

This statistic only takes into account players who have lost at least 80 matches on the ATP tour.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.
