Houston, an ATP 250 tournament favored by Americans and somewhat overlooked by Europeans due to its distance from Monte-Carlo, has revealed its quarterfinalists.
These four matches share a unique feature: only Americans remain.
They will see Tommy Paul face Colton Smith, Jenson Brooksby take on Aleksandar Kovacevic, Christopher Eubanks clash with Brandon Nakashima, and finally Alex Michelsen battle Frances Tiafoe.
This marks the first time since 1991 that all eight remaining players in an ATP tournament are American, a feat last achieved at the Orlando tournament.
