Stats: Federer holds the longest streak of seasons with at least 50 wins on the main tour since 1990

Former world No. 1 and holder of the third-most Grand Slam titles in history, Roger Federer has left an indelible mark on tennis. Known for his unique playing style, the Swiss legend dominated professional tennis for many years.
This is further proven by a statistic revealed by the X account *Jeu, Set et Maths*. Indeed, with at least 50 wins in 11 consecutive seasons (2002–2012) on the main tour, he leads a ranking that has been tracked since 1990.
Federer narrowly edges out his former rival Djokovic, who achieved the feat in 10 seasons (2007–2016), Sampras with 9 seasons (1990–1998), and Kafelnikov with 8 seasons (1994–2001). Spain’s Nadal follows closely with 7 seasons (2005–2011). As for his compatriot Alcaraz, he currently stands at 4 seasons (since 2022).
At just 22 years old, the El Palmar native can also boast being one of the youngest players to achieve this statistic, alongside American Sampras and his idol Nadal, who also did so at 22.
