Stats - Navarro spent 4h43 on court to win the Merida tournament, behind Swiatek's 3 hours at Doha in 2023

OptaAce revealed an interesting statistic about the records of time spent on court to win a WTA title.

Over the past five years, Iga Swiatek holds the record, winning the Doha tournament in 2023 by spending only 3 hours on court.

Thanks to her title won in Merida last week, Emma Navarro ranks 2nd, having spent 4h43 on court.

This time is notably due to her quick final, won 6-0, 6-0 against Emiliana Arango.

In third place, we find Garbiñe Muguruza in 2021 at Chicago. The Spaniard needed 4h52 to win all her matches.
