Stats: Sinner and Alcaraz Tied in Number of Masters 1000 Semifinals

With their respective quarterfinal victories in Cincinnati, Sinner and Alcaraz have secured another spot in the semifinals of a Masters 1000 tournament.
Though both began their professional careers very early, the two players now share the same number of semifinals in this category: 12 each. This statistic was highlighted by the X account *Jeu, Set et Maths*. This number places them fifth among active players with the most Masters 1000 semifinal qualifications.
If successful, the Italian and the Spaniard could face each other for the second time in a Masters 1000 final after Rome this year (Alcaraz won 7-6, 6-1) and also for the sixth time in an ATP tournament final—the fourth time this year (Umag 2022, Beijing 2024, Rome 2025, Roland-Garros 2025, Wimbledon 2025).
If Sinner wins against Atmane, it would mark his eighth Masters 1000 final appearance (with four victories so far). As for Alcaraz, if he manages to defeat Zverev, he would be competing for the trophy for the ninth time (with seven wins to date).
