Stats - Sinner and Swiatek, more efficient at serving than the specialists!
Now that the 2024 season has come to a close, it's time to take stock of what's been happening on the ATP and WTA circuits this year.
As tennis gets ready to resume, the excellent X account "Jeu, Set et Maths", which specializes in tennis statistics, tells us which players will be the most efficient at serving in 2024.
Jannik Sinner is the player with the highest rate of points won on his serve (71.1%). Bluffing, he is ahead of the world's best servers in their own speciality, since even Mpetshi Perricard and Zverev won fewer (70.2%).
On the women's side, Roland-Garros queen Iga Swiatek has the highest percentage of points won behind her serve (64.2%).
Here too, the Pole is ahead of players known for their excellence in this area, such as Osaka (63.8%) and Rybakina (63.2%).
