Swiatek Edges Past Rybakina in Thrilling Roland-Garros Clash

Iga Swiatek advanced to the quarterfinals of Roland-Garros by defeating Elena Rybakina this Sunday. However, the match started in the worst possible way for the Polish player, who lost the first set 6-1.

Interviewed after the match, she said: "I felt like I was playing against Jannik Sinner."

Initially out of sorts, Swiatek regained her composure after her opponent’s early break in the second set.

What followed was a fierce battle between the two players, with the Pole ultimately triumphing 1-6, 6-3, 7-5.

Swiatek will face Elina Svitolina in the Roland-Garros quarterfinals as she continues her quest for a fifth title in Paris.
