Swiatek Enters the Fray, Fognini's Last Dance, Osaka-Badosa: Thursday's Schedule in Rome

The organizers have unveiled the schedule for Thursday, May 7, in Rome.

On the center court (Campo centrale), defending champion Swiatek will make her debut in the capital by facing Cocciaretto starting at 11 a.m. This match will be followed by local favorite Paolini taking on Sun. For the first evening session, Fognini will play Fearnley starting at 7 p.m. Invited by the tournament, the 37-year-old player announced that this 2025 edition would be the last of his career.

On the Grand Stand Arena, the schedule will kick off with a clash between Osaka and the 9th seed Badosa. Coming off a first-round victory over Errani, the Japanese player is on a six-match winning streak, including her recent triumph at the Saint-Malo Open. Meanwhile, Jabeur will attempt to overcome Kvitova on the Supertennis Arena.

On the French side, Rinderknech will face Gigante, and Gaston will take on Jarry.
